Position Overview

We are seeking a talented Backend Engineer to join our dynamic team and help us take MoonBot to the next level. As a Backend Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing, maintaining, and optimizing the core infrastructure of our trading bot. You will work closely with our frontend engineers and data scientists to ensure a seamless user experience and implement robust trading strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain the backend infrastructure of the MoonBot trading platform.
  • Collaborate with the frontend team to integrate user-facing features with the backend.
  • Implement and optimize trading algorithms and strategies.
  • Manage data storage, processing, and analysis for real-time trading decisions.
  • Ensure the security and reliability of the trading platform.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the cryptocurrency and trading industry.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience as a Backend Engineer, preferably in the fintech or cryptocurrency industry.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Node.js, or Go.
  • Strong knowledge of backend technologies, databases, and cloud services.
  • Experience with API development and integration.
  • Understanding of cryptocurrency markets and trading strategies is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
